Online Safety

Anthony E. Caputo, 17, of Ypsilanti, a senior at Milan High School made a reference to PBL or Problem Based Learning. The post read “You don’t know what it’s like, I constantly fantasize of blowing up the wing as I walk away with the explosions behind me … ." A Facebook friend stated that was a bomb threat and Anthony responded, "Yes, let me make it more clear, I Anthony Caputo will bomb the new project based learning wing of Milan.” He then added, "let the suspension begin! Maybe now I won’t have to come back to this god forsaken wing again.” Milan police investigated for bombs the next morning. “We need to convey to others that this is not going to be tolerated,” Mr. Costello, Monroe County Chief Assistant Prosecutor, said. “We need to send a message.” Using a computer to convey a threat carries a maximum penalty of seven years in prison while making a false bomb threat carries four years. The teenager is scheduled to be in court for his preliminary examination at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 24.

Google Reader is way better than Technorati. Google Reader is better because i know how to operate it. I couldn't even figure out how to use Technorati for the first 10 minutes i was on. Google Reader is way more user friendly. Google reader is right for me!
